Pearl wire & Tin wire

Jewelry wire made of steel or tin for DIY necklaces and bracelets

Here you find twisted tin wire for Saami bracelets as well as jewelry wire, also called Tigertail wire, which is the best choice for necklaces and bracelets with glass beads, gemstone beads or other heavier or sharp-edged beads. You usually finish a strand of beads by sliding first a crimp bead on the beading wire and then a clasp. You form a loop and slide the wire back through the crimp bead. You tighten the loop and close the crimp bead around the neck of the loop. (Click here for pictures.)
