DIY Bracelet with wide magnetic clasp in stainless steel

Here are some ideas on how you can make a series of elegant bracelets with Smyks wide magnetic clasps in pure nickel-free steel.

Common to all these clasps (which usually can be found under the category Magnetic clasps on smyks.com) is that they have a wide input, making them suitable for bracelet made of straps or, as shown below, several parallel cords. The bracelets can of course also be decorated with charms and bracelets beads, if desired. For installation of the clasp is used strong jewelery glue.

For this bracelet, we used 5 x 17 cm round stitched leather cord with a thickness of 3 mm, which is then glued into the magnetic clasp.

For this beautiful red bracelet we used 4 mm round stitched leather cord, a total of three lengths of 17 cm.  The leather cord is glued into the magnetic clasp with Loctite gel glue.

This magnetic clasp is used 2 x 36 cm stitched leather cord 4mm, note that the stitched leather cord is actually 1 mm thicker than the equivalent round-stitched because the rim is not included in the dimensions of the stitched leather cord.
