DIY Silver Jewellery for the Confirmation

DIY Silver Jewellery for the Confirmation

We have collected some inspiration for you so you can make your own jewellery for celebrations such as a confirmation. This collection was made with sterling silver components, but of course you can make the items with gold-plated DIY jewellery components, too.

Our collection is a mix of freshwater pearls and gemstone beads in pastel colours. Combined with chains, they create a delicate and feminine look.

We used some basic and simple techniques. Click here for the respective DIY guides: How to make a loop over a pearl or bead + How to open and close a jumpring correctly.

Earrings with Rose Quartz and Cable Chaine

You need the following DIY components to make these earrings:

+ jewellery pliers, 4-part set

+ jewellery glue

First, you glue the half-drilled rose quartz teardrop onto the eye pin.

Then, you fasten 9 Delica beads to each chain with the help of headpins. Connect the loop with the chain before you make the windings.

Finally, you attach the chain to the eye of the eye pin with a 4mm jumpring.

+ jewellery pliers, 4-part set

+ jewellery glue

Fasten 10 Delica beads to each of the earthreads with the help of headpins. Connect the self-made loops to the chain before you make the windings.

Open the loop of the earthread carefully ... insert the eyelet of the eye pin ... and close the loop again carefully.

Earstuds with Windings and Chain

You need the following DIY components to make these earrings:

+ jewellery pliers, 4-part set

First, you finish all the pendants. Cut the chain into the lengths you want and fasten various beads to the chain ends.

For the pink and the green bead, you only need headpins. Pull the beads on a headpin each ... form an eyelet ... and wind the remaining wire down to the bead.

Then you start winding the wire around the earstud ... starting at the peg. Fasten one pendant after the other - with windings between the individual pieces.

Pull the headpin through 1 freshwater pearl and 1 zirconia ... and form a loop with windings.

Fasten 1 bead at one end of the chain and fasten a jumpring to the other.

Open the eyelet of the earstud carefully, insert the freshwater pearl and the chain ... and close the eyelet again.
